Managment Information System
The MIS is an important component of Planning and Implementation under SSA.
OBJECTIVES OF MIS
- To create comprehensive data on primary education in the district and review the status every year
- To monitor enrolment and retention
- To monitor performance in respect of students and achievements with special reference to girls and social groups, viz.,SC, ST & minorities
The MIS is proposed to be set up at district level and will take up following activities
->Collections of basic information on schools like
infrastructure facilities, TLM, furniture, equipment, etc.
->Information on total children in the age group at 6 to
14, name-wise.
->Name-wise particulars of children, in school and
out-of-school.
->Teacher information.
->Pupil achievements in various subjects in primary and
upper primary schools
